Colin's Pledge

Citizens and taxpayers,

I promise to restore your voice to a political process that has been deaf to you.

To prove my commitment, I vow to "Take the High Road," accepting no money from corporations, lobbyists, political action committees, and special interests. I will earn every cent by spreading my message of reform and public service.

We have the best legislature that money can buy, but I am running to bring us a better legislature than special interest money has bought. Minnesota has the most lobbyists per capita of any state in the country. My opponent received well over fifty percent of contributions from lobbyists and political action committees in her last election. These abuses of the public interest must end.

Before you vote this November, keep in mind where each candidate's campaign money came from and why. Who are their real masters? Remember who is on your side and who watches out for special interests. Our democracy deserves no less!
